In the midst of all the busyness and responsibilities that demand the attention of a pastor, if there are two things that cannot be compromised on, they are the pastor’s life and the pastor’s doctrine.

We see this clearly in the words of the Apostle Paul to his young protégé Timothy, “Keep a close watch on yourself and on the teaching.” And the seriousness of this charge is clear in what he says next: “Persist in this, for by so doing you will save both yourself and your hearers.” And so, it is always good for pastors to be encouraged to re-evaluate their lives and their doctrine and realign them according to God’s Word. In this conference, men who have been in the ministry for several years teach from God’s Word to encourage pastors to pursue holiness and biblical fidelity.
