Bob Kauflin equips pastors and musicians in the theology and practice of congregational worship and oversees albums produced by Sovereign Grace. He also serves as an elder at Sovereign Grace Church of Louisville. Bob has written two books: Worship Matters: Leading Others to Encounter the Greatness of God and True Worshipers: Seeking What Matters to God, and (occasionally) blogs at www.WorshipMatters.com. He and his wife Julie have six children, and an ever-growing number of grandchildren.

Pastoral ministry has multiple aspects, and pastors are often juggling their attention between various responsibilities. It is understandable that preaching and counselling take up a lot of time and attention, but what role should pastors have in the singing ministry of their church? Do pastors consider singing as a part of their teaching ministry to build up the people of God? In this session, Pastor Bob Kauflin will help us think about the importance of “Pastoring through song.”
